Harper and Ava busy playing

Harper has been super busy. She is pulling up on everything she can reach. I find her standing all the time. I think walking is not too far in the distant future. She still has no teeth, but is chewing on everything, so I feel that won't be long either.
I am so bad about posting blogs, there are many events that happen between the postings.

At the beginning of the month some of our friends from Lubbock stopped by on their way through town. It was nice to see them. Harper had fun playing with Ava.

Harper got an eye infection that resulted in an eye surgery to correct a blocked tear duct. It happened around the middle of October. It was pretty stressful to send my baby to surgery. The worse part was when they brought her out of surgery on a stretcher. She was so tiny compared to the huge stretcher. But thank God everything went well. Thanks for all the prayers. We felt very fortunate for our health and that we were only there for a minor procedure. We saw many kids with much more serious problems than ours.
This past weekend we went to Lubbock for the Texas Tech vs University of Texas game. It was a blast, Harper tailgated with us for a while before her Pop and KeKe so nicely came and picked her up. I forgot my camera but the game was a nail biter, we won though.
Also Harper has been to some pumpkin patches and the local farmer's market to take her first Halloween pictures. She usually smiles a lot, but we got her dressed and ready and I have one picture of her smiling. She refused to smile, I think maybe the pumpkins freaked her out a little. I even had Harper's Great Grammy and Grandpy along with GiGi helping and no one could get a smile. Since we were on the road to Lubbock Halloween night Harper got dressed up in her strawberry outfit just for the camera. She'll never know it wasn't Halloween night.
Harper is growing up so fast, she changes every week. We just really feel blessed to be her parents. Hope everyone is doing well. We will be home every weekend from now until Thanksgiving, let us hear from you!!!!
Oh I'll put one picture of Ben's new hobby, wildlife photography :). He grabs the camera anytime any wildlife comes in the backyard. He has some new pets, about 30 turkey, if anyone needs a Thanksgiving turkey let us know, we know where to get one.
